Chapelle Saint-Michel d'Aiguilhe

From volcanism, one of the most amazing sites in France, the rock (with a height of 82 meters) and the chapel of Saint-Michel is an exceptional Aiguilhe.

Technical and human feat, the chapel built in 961 was born thanks to the bishop of Puy-en-Velay Gothescalk who decided to build his return from a pilgrimage to Saint Jacques de Compostela.
